In the gig guide below Record Mirror call the venue the Cavendish but it is the same venue as Coasters which has changed names several times down the years. It appears it was trading as Coasters at the time, but likely it would still have been referred to as the Cavendish by many, although it was Clouds before Coasters. (Edinburgh Gig Archive). Further note from Dannyno – The venue was certainly officially known as Coasters in 1981, but the building was of course originally the New Cavendish ballroom (at least as far back as 1939) and the name evidently stuck – in 1991 it would revert to being called The Cavendish after various name changes. And after a period as Lava/Ignite from 2005 it would be known as “Cav” from 2012 until again being renamed Atik in 2017 (all dates estimates). But it seems locals have carried on calling it the Cavendish throughout
